ABOUT US
The SCTE Board of Directors established the SCTE Foundation in 2005 to build on the mission and purpose of SCTE as a professional association dedicated to improving the careers of cable telecommunications professionals.
The SCTE Foundation is dedicated to helping members of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) to advance or enhance their careers. Whether the member is an industry veteran, an individual just starting out, or a professional in transition, grants from the SCTE Foundation help them achieve their educational goals through funding towards seminars, conferences, certification and degree programs, technical software, and more.
All of the financial assistance that the SCTE Foundation provides to members is made possible through the donations from within the industry. The SCTE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
FOUNDATION MISSION.
The Mission of the SCTE Foundation is to nurture the career skills, opportunities and alliances that build and enable a diverse workforce to positively impact the communities cable serves. Notably to increase the technical, business and leadership skills of the telecommunications engineering workforce, promote technology and engineering in the early stages of education, attract and recruit women and minorities into an engineering career, and underpin cable workforce support for essential and emergency needs.
Meet the SCTE Foundation leadership.
A volunteer Board of Directors of industry leaders representing the various segments of the cable telecommunications industry governs the SCTE Foundation. In addition, there are several committees reporting to the Board that provide strategic direction and leadership for the SCTE Foundation.

It is an open fundraising campaign where any individual, organization or corporation can contribute funds.
